As you know, I quite like using cleansing cloths on occasion because they're very convenient! You can just grab one and take it on the go- they can be used anywhere, you don't need a sink and warm water and a wash cloth and a bottle of cleanser. This one can be used for all your face cleansing needs, which is an added bonus.
My little sample came with five cloths. I have used three so far! They smell like cherries to me, even though there is no cherry in the ingredients. I guess it is just the combination of many fruit essential oils. Either way, these cloths smell really good!
I was surprised at how small the cloths are- they're much smaller than any other cleansing cloth I've used before, which I didn't like. However, I used both sides and it did the trick and I was able to remove all my makeup and mascara too! As promised, I wasn't left with dry skin afterwards.
I like the fact that these cloths are made with 99% natural ingredients. They're paraben-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free and free of synthetic fragrances! What I don't like? The price tag! I know natural brands are usually more expensive, but these wipes are out of my price-range at $17.99 for 30, especially since I wash my face twice daily! I love the basis of the company and I think the product is great, but I won't be purchasing these cloths in the near future unless they go on sale!

I tried out Julep's Hayden after much anticipation. It went on the nail very matte, and I added a topcoat for some shine. It is BRIGHT neon orange. Like Alyson, this polish chipped very easily and was short lived on the nail. Thus far, I have not been at all impressed with Julep's quality- e.l.f.'s polishes are much cheaper and last way longer. Pictured above is two coats and a topcoat.
This colour is awesome for summer and I got a few compliments on it! I just wish it didn't chip after the first day of wear :( I will definitely use it in a pedicure once I get a tan!

A biodegradable cleansing cloth! That's a really cool product I like that a lot. These sound wonderful but I too think the price is a bit high. The polish is cute but too bad it chips!
ReplyDeleteyes, they can be put in your compost, which is uber environmentally friendly and I love the concept. I just wish they were more wallet friendly too :P
DeleteAgreed! I'd love to try these if they're ever on sale though.
Deletelove the idea of the cleansing cloths, never thought of honey as a good ingredient in them though! too bad they are so pricey :(
ReplyDeleteyes honey is a great natural moisturizer apparently? I didn't know that either!! I love honey though, yum yum yum. Sometimes I think that since I use so many 'natural' products it makes me a magnet for BUGS !! not good for the up coming months :/
DeleteI got the Kaia Cleansing Cloths in a past Glymm box and really liked them as well! I didn't think something so small would do the trick, but it did! I just found them expensive as well and have found the Korres ones to be pretty good with all the "naturalness" that the Kaia ones had. Maybe try those out during your next Shoppers haul? The cloths are super soft too.
ReplyDeleteyes they still worked even though they were small, but I found the smallness of them to make them more awkward to use! I will check out the Korres ones, thanks for the tip!! :)
DeleteI love love love the Kaia Cloths - enough to make me actually pay that price tag. I just haven't found another one that I like as much - it must be a combination of the scent, ingredients and I just love how it feels on my skin.
ReplyDeleteI am glad they have loyal customers because I love the brand and what they stand for, I just personally can't afford to drop that much right now on facial cleansing cloths. :(
DeleteI Love Kaia Naturals!
ReplyDeleteBefore moving to Japan I made sure to buy a bunch.. I think about 6 packages! haha
I need enough to survive the first few months :)
haha awesome! I hope you bought the 'bulk' package for a reduced priced. Saw it on glymm's website.
DeleteI actually wish I knew about the bulk package beforehand :( hahah. I might have to buy the bulk one when I run out. I hope that's thats not for a while. I try to only use the cloth when I REALLY need to.. hahah..
DeleteI agree with your review.. I loved the sample I received a few months back but it was to small and the price tag too large. I just use sensitive baby wipes.. I usually pick them up for $2 and if they are good enough for a baby's bottom they are good enough for my face! Haha :)
